The Guests are requested to be accommodative and live to the spirit of staying in a homestay. Staying in a homestay involves self-service at times hence guests are not expected to demand services like a hotel or guest house. The host makes every effort to keep the guests happy but everything has to be managed within the limited resources available in the village.

How to reach?
The Batari House is situated at Village Batari, 5 Km from Kotgarh, 20 km from Narkanda, and around 85 km from Shimla. It is 16 km link road from NH5 ( Shimla - Kinnaur - Spiti Highway).
Bus - there are 3 direct buses from Shimla to Batari every day. else you can reach Narkanda from where a pickup can be arranged via cab. Narkanda is well connetced to Shimla. Chandigarh and Delhi by bus. There is a direct overnight Volvo bus from Delhi to Narkanda ( departs at 7:30 om from ISBT Kashmiri Gate)
Train - The nearest train station is Shimla. From Shimla, you can either take the bus or taxi.
Air - The nearest regular Airport is Chandigarh. From Chandigarh, you can either take a bus or a taxi. Shimla also has an airport but the flights are not reliable due to the weather.
